It started simply enough: One man, one dog and one dream. Designer Nate Brouwer wanted to build the best stand up paddleboard on the planet – one that could cut through cross winds, tear through waves and keep his dog Stella from getting rocked right into the water.

He put everything into his design and eventually crafted the TRU>TRAC dual finsystem. When combined with his Rubicon board, he had created a board like no other.
